We Are Proud to Be an Agricultural Community

Armstrong Township is a progressive municipality built on agriculture and a strong community spirit.

The International Plowing Match (IPM), the largest outdoor agricultural and rural expo is held in Ontario each September. The Township of Armstrong proudly hosted the 2009 IPM. Held in Earlton, September 22^nd to 26^th 2009 and the very first IPM in Northern Ontario. The event had 80,000 visitors and 600 exhibitors and 2,100 serviced RV lots on a 1,000-acre venue.
