Accessibility Statement and Policy

Accessibility Act

A provincial law in Ontario that aims to identify, remove and prevent barriers for people with disabilities. AODA applies to organizations. It’s a law that sets out a process for developing and enforcing accessibility standards.

We want to do our part, by committing to treating people with disabilities in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We will accommodate and modify to serve the public and promote the dignity and independence of people with disabilities.

We are committed to training staff and volunteers in Ontario’s accessibility laws and aspects of the Ontario Human Rights Code that relate to persons with disabilities. Our employees and volunteers will receive training on accessibility as it relates to their specific roles.
