Upon submission of your building permit application, we require an $85.00 deposit. Submission of your building permit application does not mean that you may begin your project. Your project cannot be started until you have paid and picked up your building permit from the Municipal Office.

Starting construction prior to having your building permit will result in higher building permit fees and can result in having to restart your project.

Once you have your building permit, take a moment to look at it. You will notice that the building department has indicated which steps require inspections. It is your responsibility to call for these inspections. Inspections require at least 48 hours’ notice.
